The history

Fabric Lab Italy was founded in Busto Arsizio in December 2015 by a group of entrepreneurs and professionals from very important companies in the textile sector. With their main skills – silk, printing, jacquard/yarn dyed and piece dyed – they created the articles of the company’s first collections. Later on the archive of sister company Fabric Frontline with its beautiful and original prints and the archive of Frangi, characterized by the elegant geometries typical of the designs of the seventies had been added.
One year from its foundation, Fabric Lab Italy increased its activity in the world of silk, meeting the immediate interest of the market. This thanks to fancy articles, such as jacquards and fil coupe and a wide range of plain fabrics – stills, stretch and with special finishings (waterwash, sandwash, etc.). In only few years, with its always different and original collections, silk becomes the core business of the company, which also produces and markets the premium and organic Silk certificated GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard). This one has a complete traceability, from the mulberry plantations to the silk yarn.
